These are the most recent pieces I've painted.

Tiana's garden sign.

This is a garden sign painted to go in Tiana's small garden.

Here is an adorable ballerina shelf I painted. It's a Debbie Mitchell design. I painted 9 of them one Easter! I even painted one to look like a boy with denim overalls!

Here's a cute little fall basket. This one I painted and kept for myself.

Here's my suitcase, painted with a few quick roses, easy to find on the carousel at the airport!

This is an angel I painted for my Gram. Gram passed away in July of 2006, and her angel came back to me.

This is also a Jamie Mills Price design, painted by me, on an album cover, for an exchange gift. Another piece I've given away and wished I'd kept for myself! Click on the photo (or here) for a larger view.

Here are a pair of mittens, a Jamie Mills Price design, painted by me, April 25, 2007.

This is one of my very first projects I painted.

I painted this little stool in my early painting days.

This is a brush holder I cut out and painted. Gail Anderson design, painted by me.

This is an angel card I've painted for the guardian angel program. It's a Jamie Mills Price design, enlarged for a card, and painted by me.

Here is a clock I painted a few years back, I painted one for my sister and one for my sister-in-law....

The pattern was in Paintworks Oct 2006 and was designed by Vicki Rhodes, CDA and Cynthia Bowman, CDA. (This piece is varnished - the two to the right are not).

Monster buckets - unvarnished.

Here's a pansy journal I painted for my mom for her birthday this year. Painted in July 2006.

Here is a long overdue project!
A millk can I just had to have when I started painting back in 1993. I made Mike go get it and sand it and prime it, so I could not paint it all these years! I drug it to NC and decided I would not be dragging it back to Canada unpainted. I painted this picture of the Balmoral Grist Mill, NS from a photo, which makes me the designer! The milk can isn't finished yet, but it's coming along pretty good. I might paint some scroll work and flowers around the top...we shall see.

This is an old wooden kitchen chair that I am painting on. It's not completely finished yet, I'm going to antique it and my leaves aren't finished, nor is the purple trim everywhere, but it takes an ugly old paint spattered chair and makes it into something pretty.

Here is a cute little valentine project. I painted it a long time ago, just didn't have a picture of it on my site.

Here is my first Bob Ross style painting (oil). Painted Dec 17, 2006.

Here's a fall scene painted on a bench insert for my friend, ,Denise, back home.
Debbie Toews design, painted by me, January 2007.

Winter scene painted on a wooden insert for Denise's bench. Debbie Toews design, painted by me. January 2007

Another winter scene, a Bob Ross design, painted in acrylics by me, on another insert for the same bench. January 2007

Here's a pretty summer scene for Denise's bench. A Debbie Toews design, painted by me. January 2007

This is a frame glass piece, painted with gallery glass (also known as faux stained glass). This piece is pretty, but I'm not sure I'll ever get it as smooth looking as reall stained glass....

Here's a monster I painted for my great-niece, Marissa. September 2006.
This monster has her name on it, and pink fur!

Here are 5 little wooden nesting dolls. They have a nutcracker design on them, which I don't like. I sanded them and repainted them, see below. To see a larger view of the nutcrackers, click here or on the photo.

Here the dolls are repainted. A witch, scarecrow, ghost, pumpkin and cat. (The witch still needs her black hat). They are too cute. (Designed by Eleanor Zimmerman, from Nesting Doll Book, Vol I.) There is a white dot glare on the pieces, from the camera, so I'll try to take a clearer picture and post it here later.

This is a John Sliney design, that appeared in Tole World in 2003. Painted by me!

This is a pretty stone house/door with garden. I painted it in a seminar with Kathy Langdon (I think) at CODA. Click on the image for a larger view.

This was also painted for my exchange partner (Spring 06), it's a metal sign. Click here or on the image for a larger view.

Another recycled item, a clipboard painted with lady slipper flowers (a favorite of this Nova Scotian). Click here or on the image for a larger view.

This is a lapdesk that I bought years ago and never painted. I finally decided to put it to use for Mother's Day 2006. I thought this mailbox was a great idea for a "writing desk". I gave it to my Mother for Mother's Day. Click here or on the image for a larger view.

This is a "recycled" mouspad, I painted flowers on it for the Spring Exchange on Tolefriends. Click here or on the image for a larger view.
